I attended Lagos State Model College Igbonla and met some amazing people. One of them is Buki Uzoama. Afeez Kukoyi, a class of '97 "old boy" first told me about Buki Uzoamas's wedding some weeks back and we made plans of attending together. It would be a great opportunity to see him and others that might attend. Recently I got a BBM Group invitation on my phone from Taiwo Williams "Class of 97". I immediately accepted and it was like traveling back in time. Messages just kept rolling in - gist, yabis etc. We decided to move the group to Wasapp because of the limit on BBM Group chat membership and the members list exploded! I had to change my phone profile to "phone calls only" because the message alerts were driving me nuts. When I had time to check my messages I would see 3000+ unread messages and I would now dedicate about an hour to go through the messages, amuse myself and just relax knowing that everyone since 97 are well and doing fine. We decided to all meet at Buki Uzoama's wedding as many as could make it there and also we decided to make the group chat as productive as possible. Taiwo please take note and stir this ship that you have set on sail well. Here are some of the pictures I could take. I really tried to take more but gisting and merrying did not allow me. Here is a roll-call of those that made it-
Shade Aibana, Adeola Osibo, Sorosola Barton, Gomez Oladehinde+ his son, Eze Uguw, Adewale Adenuga (Binta), Seyi Ariyibi, Ayo Aluko, Lateef Adeyemi and his family, Azeez Lawal, Edwin Oguma, Afeez Kukoyi, Laolu Oyebola, Taiwo Williams, laide Adekoya, Niyi Muyi, Buki Uzoama and Roselyn Odusanya nee Uzoama. And congratulations to Rilwan Onigbanjo on the birth of your son Fareed.
